Fixing Incised Creek Banks on the Feather River

The resources of the Feather River have sustained Jim Wilcox, first as a logger and now as the program manager for the Feather River CRM. Over the last several decades he has pioneered an innovative technique called Pond and Plug to reconnect degraded stream channels to their historical flood planes.
